Summary

What are International Collaborative Projects?

Collaborative Project Based Learning is a method of learning which empowers students to initiate the research, plan, coordinate, and produce a solution to a real-world problem while meeting the curricular goals of your subject area. It also enables project teams to collaborate between subject areas, schools and geographic boundaries for greater project diversity and learning potential.

There are many types of projects which fit this model and we have provided some examples on our project list page. ACSI desires to take this process further to incoporate clear biblical integration and meaningful collaboration between students in various schools and countries. If you are unfamiliar with Project Based Learning, we invite you to first take our course on 21st Century Learning.

Remember that these are projects developed by you with teachers in other Christian schools. Your students will be able to then complete the project together with the students from the other schools in a combined learning experience. We encourage you to begin at whatever level of project collaboration fits your needs and we will help you through the planning process.
